Ronal A. Greer, Sr. 1939-2013

Dedicated to our founder, mentor and friend, Ronal A. Greer, Sr. Our family owned business is his legacy, and we run it with same principles that he founded it on: Trust, Integrity and Service.
Ron began his career with Southern Life in 1957. The following year he joined the Army and served both an active and reserve role until 1964.
When he founded The Greer Agency in 1964, Ron focused primarily on life insurance. But over time, he recognized the need for benefits administration support among small businesses and entrepreneurs and expanded the company’s scope to serve these clients. He grew the business to what it is today.
In 2002, Ron stepped down as president of The Greer Agency but remained as Chairman of the Board and continued to mentor our staff and provide guidance.
He is missed by all who knew him.
